3B: Dreamspace for the User 'A HIDE OUT'

In this project, students are required to design a space for the user by attaching it to the walls/surfaces of an imagined 'city' on an empty abandoned lot in between two buildings. The space is to fit the specific needs of the the user, space that best fits the personality, occupation and character of the user we are designing for.  Through this project, we are allowed to incorporates both the creativity and its functionality, identity if user, comfortability of user and creativity in articulating the space. These challenges are to be architecturally translated into a space that successfully establishes the quality of the interior and articulation of exterior. Through this project student will demonstrate understanding of their chosen user through research after which show the process how this understanding is translated to spatial and form concept & design through sketches and study models. This project involves presentation of the final design through A2 Panel board presentation and to scale model. As for me, I've chosen Phillipe Starck as my user because he has an interesting background which allow me to explore more from his design.
